    There is a limit of four diners per online reservation enquiry.

    Please note this information on cancellations, parking, dogs, children and celebration cakes:

    Cancellations: For bookings of 6 people or more we will take credit card details including your long card number, expiry and security code. Should there be a cancellation within 24 hours of the booking or a “no show” we would then apply a £10 charge per person.

    Parking: We offer a relatively large, free car parking facility for diners. However, at busy times please refrain from blocking others in then asking us to pull you from your table to move your car. There is plenty of on- & off-road parking within easy walking distance including Judson’s Recreation Ground directly opposite Bartellas.

    Dogs: We have always accommodated assistance and training dogs in the restaurant and will continue to do so. However, in recent months we have experienced too many dog owners assuming they have a right to bring their pet dog into the restaurant which nowadays causes far too many adverse comments, especially when they end up feeding them at the table when sat on their lap.

    We have therefore taken the decision to refuse dogs in the restaurant regardless of their previous form and often good behaviour.

    Children: Families are welcome but we insist that young children remain seated rather than left to roam or run around the restaurant. As their custodians, should they become exceptionally loud and disruptive, you will be asked to remove them from the restaurant.

    Cakes: We are happy to present birthday & other celebration cakes at the table but they should not be considered, nor consumed, as a substitute for ordering a dessert. Should we be asked to serve it, we will add a supplementary charge of £20 plus 10% service per table.
